By accessing our website, submitting a booking inquiry, or reserving a property listed on our platform or any third-party channel (such as Airbnb, Booking.com, Expedia or Vrbo), you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. This agreement sets forth the legally binding terms between you (“Guest,” “User,” or “You”) and THE LODGE AT PUNTA RICA (“We,” “Us,” or “Our”).
Please read these vacation rental terms and conditions carefully before making a reservation.
THE LODGE AT PUNTA RICA operates a short-term vacation rental business offering curated property listings across our own website and trusted partner platforms. By using our website, submitting an inquiry, or completing a booking, you agree to these Terms and Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and any additional rules specific to the property you’re booking. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
Guests may book directly via our website or through linked third-party booking platforms such as Airbnb, Booking.com, Expedia or Vrbo. Rates, availability and cancellation terms may differ between our website and each platform.
Minimum age: Guests must be at least 21 years old to book.
Identification: We may require government-issued ID verification prior to confirming a reservation.
Payment: For direct bookings, a 50% deposit is requested through our secure payment link (ChargeAutomation) right after you book. Please pay it within 24 hours to secure your dates; unpaid reservations may be released. The remaining 50% is charged automatically 30 days before arrival.
Security Deposits: Some properties may require a refundable security deposit, held for incidental damages.
House Rules: By confirming your booking, you agree to comply with all house rules and community guidelines listed in the property description.
When you book direct, you choose between two rates:
Flexible rate: free cancellation (full refund) up to 30 days before arrival. If you cancel within 30 days of arrival, 50% of the total cost of the reservation is charged. If you do not arrive and have not cancelled (a no-show), 100% of the total cost of the reservation is charged and is not refundable.
Non-refundable rate: about 5% lower than the flexible rate. It cannot be cancelled for a refund.
The cancellation deadline is shown on your booking page and confirmation and uses the property’s local time (Panama). Cancellations must be made in writing to reservations@rhghosting.com or through your booking confirmation.
If you book through Airbnb, Booking.com, Expedia, Vrbo or another platform, that platform’s cancellation policy applies. We are not responsible for refunds processed through those services.
By booking a property, you agree to:
Respect house rules, occupancy limits, and quiet hours
Not host parties or events without prior written approval
Not bring unauthorized guests onto the property
Cover the cost of any damage, theft, or excessive cleaning
Abide by all posted pet and smoking policies (if applicable)
Failure to comply may result in eviction without refund and additional charges.
You agree not to:
Use our site for unlawful purposes
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
Scrape or copy content or listings for commercial purposes
Post misleading, false, or harmful information via our forms
All content, including text, images, logos, and listing descriptions, is the intellectual property of THE LODGE AT PUNTA RICA or its licensors unless otherwise stated.
While we do our best to ensure accurate information and a smooth guest experience, we are not liable for:
Website errors, outages, or technical issues
Injuries, accidents, or lost/stolen property during your stay
Events beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, power outages, pandemics)
All stays are at the guest’s own risk, and we encourage you to purchase travel insurance for added protection.
We take your privacy seriously. Please refer to our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal data. By using our site, you consent to these practices.
These terms may be updated from time to time without prior notice. It is your responsibility to review this page periodically. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of those changes.
